FREQUENCY MULTIPLEXED LIGHT SOURCE

摘要

PURPOSE:To facilitate control for stabilizing optrical frequency and to improve stability in light frequency multiplexed light source for detecting and error of each optical frequency from frequency multiplexed light obtained by multiplexing light beams having mutually different frequency bands lmitted from plural light sources and controlling respective light sources. CONSTITUTION:Frequency multiplexed light obtained by multiplexing output light beams from respective light sources 11 to 1n by a multiplexer 20 is made incident on an optical frequency discriminator 30 for changing a transmission factor correspondingly to deviations from the optical frequency bends set up in respective light sources 11 to 1n, transmitted light from the discriminator 30 is demultiplexed by a dimultiplexer 40, changes in the transmission factor by respective light frequency bands are detected by respective error detecting circuits 51 to 5n to detect respective light frequency errors, and respective light sources 11 to 1n are controlled based upon the detected results.
