<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a rotary drum apparatus in which a ground structure having compact and excellent assembling properties by proving a suitable ground. CONSTITUTION:The rotary drum apparatus comprises a stationary lower drum 11, a support shaft 13 fixed to the drum 11, and an upper drum 12 rotatably supported to the shaft 13 via bearings 14, 15. A through hole 30 is formed at the suitable position of the base of the drum 11 corresponding to the bearing 14, and a ground brush 31 mounted in the hole 30 is elastically brought into contact with the bearing 14. Elastic means 24 for energizing the ball bearing 15 under predetermined pressure in a thrust direction is provided. The brush 31 is simply mounted in the hole 30 of the drum 11 after the drums 11, 12 are assembled. Since it is compactly mounted in the drum 11, the size reduction can be effectively realized.</p> |
