PURPOSE: To separate an excessive material from a cast article and to keep the display of the efficiency of a casting process by providing a shearing machine in the feed passage between a valve member and a space and separating the material in the passage after the material is extruded. CONSTITUTION: A casting machine 10 consists of a space side 12 and a core side 14 and both sides 12, 13 are abutted along a common surface 16. A space 18 is molded within the space side 12 to demarcate the outer surface of an article to be cast together with the core side 14. A casting material is supplied through an inlet 20 and an air jet nozzle 22 is fixed within the core side 14 to protrude into the space 18 to supply compressed air into the space 18. The casting material is extruded from the space 18 through an escape valve assembly 26 and the outlet connected to the space 18. The escape valve assembly 26 controls the passage of the material from the space 18 to the outlet 24. |
