PURPOSE: To provide a detector of excellent sensitivity and favorable reliability which can be easily manufactured, and which can be mechanically operated by providing a positioning device and a measurement detector to be disposed at a column end of a capillary column. CONSTITUTION: A capillary column 26 is fixed at a proper place, and a housing 46 is positioned to a container 16 of a positioning device 14 adjacent to an end part of the column 26. On the contrary, the column 2 6 and another assisting electrode 30 are movable to the device 14, and a displacement method corresponding to this disposition method can be automated. As the column 26 is disposed in the device 14, a compression spring 48 adjusts the column 26 in an axial direction, and a measurement detection current 22 is securely positioned in the device 14 as a result to be relatively disposed to a favorable position at a discharge end of the column 26 for detection. A detection device 12 utilizes the column 26 as a means for various separation. This is additionally utilized for a detector in which conductivity measuring, electrochemical, or current detection devices are compactly and correctly positioned. |
