PURPOSE:To obtain the medicine capable of raising essential hypotension and orthostatic hypotension to surely and safely treat dizziness and orthostatic syndromes caused by the hypotensions. CONSTITUTION:The improved vasopressor medicine contains a sympathetic nerve-exciting medicine, preferably midodrine hydrochloride, and a galenical as active ingredients. The galenical includes one or more kinds of ginseng, Epimedium grandiflorum, Hordeum hexastichon, Allium sativum, SHIGOKA (a galenical), SANYAKU (a galenical), Liriosma ovata, Rehmanniae radix, JUKUJIOU (the steamed and dried product of Rhehmannia glutinosa, Moutan cortex, Cornus officinalis, Cinnamomi cortex, Rhododendron metternichii and Hoelen. The vasopressor medicine is orally administered at a dose of 50-350mg (sympathetic nerve-exciting medicine: 2-10mg; the galenical: 48-350mg) as the active ingredients per day for an adult once or in several portions. The vasopressor medicine may, if necessary, suitably be compounded with adjuvants such as vitamins, amino acids, other galenicals, a neurotropic medicine and an antidepressant. |
