PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a property of tensile strength, creep ductility, etc. through forging by executing centrifugal casting of a blank for plural preforms, which has a prescribed shape to be forged to a desired part, and then forging the preform to the part. SOLUTION: A preform 10 suitable for finish forging to a blade of an aircraft engine is cut from a T shaped blank 8 with imparting a prescribed angle between a platform face of root and a blade part of a propeller. By casting a slender part, several preforms 10 are obtained from a single blank 8 at a cost lower than when each preform is cast. A blank, which has a different shape for a preform for a blade of the propeller having various patters, can be cast by centrifugal casting method. |
