PURPOSE: To prevent radio beams from causing interference larger than a maximum level by allocating the free channel of an adjacent beam in the case that respective isolation levels equal to the ratio of the antenna gain of a main lobe and the sum of the maximum antenna gain of the second lobe of the other beam are higher than a given threshold value. CONSTITUTION: The radiation characteristics of two antennas accompany the respective beams F1 and F2 inside a satellite network, and in the case that the two beams are not spatially efficiently isolated, channel interference is generated between the second lobes LL1 and LL2 of one beam and the main lobes LP2 and LP1 of the other beam. As a result, data transmitted on the channel of one beam are disturbed by the data transmitted on the channel of the other beam. In this case, in the case that the respective isolation levels equal to the ratio of the antenna gain of the main lobe and the sum of the maximum antenna gain of the second lobe of the other beam are higher than the given threshold value, the free channel of the adjacent beam is allocated. |
