PURPOSE:To use the auxiliary light of a camera when the auxiliary light of a stroboscope cannot be used by detecting the power source voltage of the externally fitted stroboscope and using the auxiliary light incorporated in the camera when the detected voltage is equal to or under a prescribed value. CONSTITUTION:A transistor 5 and resistances 6 and 8 correspond to a first control means, and a transistor 31 and resistances 30 and 33 correspond to a second control means. Such constitution that the voltages of resistances 3 and 4 are detected by a port PS7 corresponds to a detection means detecting the power source voltage of the stroboscope and outputting a detection signal when the detected voltage is equal to or under the prescribed value. Besides, it corresponds to a selection means selecting an auxiliary light control means on a camera side by microcomputers 10 and 23 based on the detected result of a battery voltage detection means on the stroboscope side. When the battery voltage of the stroboscope is detected by such constitution and the auxiliary light on the stroboscope side can be driven, the auxiliary light on the stroboscope side is turned on at a focusing time. When the auxiliary light cannot be driven, the auxiliary light on the camera side is turned on. |
