PURPOSE:To provide an org. electroluminescent element which emits light stably. CONSTITUTION:This element is obtd. by laminating an anode, an org. hole transport layer, an org. luminescent layer. and a cathode subsequently in this order onto a substrate. If necessary. an electron transport layer is inserted into between the luminescent layer and the cathode. The luminescent layer comprises a naphthalimide deriv. of the formula (wherein R is H, 1-16C linear or branched alkyl, optionally a substd. aryl, or optionally a substd. aralkyl). |
