PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure-sensitive copy material for improving the initial emerging density and the density after discoloring of a pressure-sensitive copy sheet comprising a CB sheet and a CF sheet. SOLUTION: The pressure-sensitive copy material comprises 3, 1 benzoxazine chromogenic material in a solvent comprising vegetable oil and/or mono-, di or tri-functional ester of a non-aromatic mono-carboxylic acid 1, 2 having a straight or branched hydrocarbon chain with at least three carbon atoms in the chain in addition to the carboxyl carbon atom and an inorganic color developer. The surface pH of the color developer is not more than 8.7, which gives rise to enhanced image intensity and fade resistance compared with the use of 3, 1 benzoxazine chromogenic material in the same solvent with the same color developer at a higher surface pH value. |
