PURPOSE:To improve solvent resistance and heat resistance by a method wherein a microcapsule is formed by covering an oily core substance with a wall membrane made of a reaction product between a multivalent isocyanate compound and a specified polyol. CONSTITUTION:A microcapsule is formed by covering an oily core substance with a wall membrane made of a polymer compound, which is a reaction product between a multivalent isocyanate compound and an addition product of pentaerythritol represented by the formula, where R1-R3 represent hydrogen atoms and methyl groups and, (m), (n), (o) and (p) respectively represent integers of 1-25, with an alkylene oxide. Pressure-sensitive copying paper is produced by applying the above-mentioned microcapsule, which is formed by covering the oily core substance containing an electron donable color developing agent in a hydrophobic medium prepared by mixing a parafin with one or more different ones selected from the group consisting of a diaryl alkane-based compound, an alkyl naphthalene-based compound and an alkyl biphenyl-based compound, on a support. |
