<p>PURPOSE:To provide a product formed with a part having beautiful metallic luster partially on the front surface of a golf ball and a process for producing such product. CONSTITUTION:The metallic luster part is partially formed on the front surface of this golf ball 1. A thermoplastic resin layer 2, a metallic thin film layer 3 and a surface protective layer 4 are laminated on the front surface of the golf ball 1 in this metallic luster part. At this time, a transparent colored layer 5 may be formed between this metallic thin film layer 3 and the surface protective layer 4. A film A for transfer having the layer constitution of a plastic film base material/release layer/surface protective layer 4/(transparent colored layer 5/) metallic thin film layer 3/thermoplastic resin layer 2 is produced and thereafter, the thermoplastic resin layer 2 side is brought into contact with the front surface of the golf ball 1 and is heated and pressurized, by which the film is transferred to the golf ball. As a result, the beautiful metallic luster color is observe and the product having a high-quality feeling is obtd.</p> |
