<p>PURPOSE: To provide a failure recorder of a microprocessor which does not lose operating state diagnostic information because of power cutoff, etc. CONSTITUTION: This failure recorder is connected through a communication bus to nonvolatile memory 2 and operating state diagnostic units 4 and 8, and error output of the units 4 and 8 is sent to a 1st input NMI of a microprocessor 1 via an OR logic circuit 10. The recorder includes a delay means 5 to which an error signal is sent, the output of the delay means 5 is sent to a reset input RESET of the microprocessor 1, and the delay of the delay means 5 features being delayed enough for state data to be recorded in the nonvolatile memory 2 before the error signal is given to the reset input RESET of the microprocessor 1 and is reset.</p> |
