<p>PURPOSE:To produce an inexpensive curing material consisting essentially of steelmaking slag and/or molten iron pre-treating slag. CONSTITUTION:This slag curing material is composed of 50-90wt.% steelmaking slag and/or molten iron pre-treating slag, 5-30wt.% silica based substance, 1-20wt.% lime and 10.5-10wt.% sodium silicate. A cured body having a strength comparable to those of cement is obtained by adding water to this curing material, kneading it and aging it. Moreover, rusting ratio is very low and the occurrence of nasty smell is eliminated at the time of working. The curing material is usable to civil.road work or industrial waste solidifying as an alternative product of cement.</p> |
