CODED DATA EDITING DEVICE

摘要

PURPOSE:To edit image data in which no image disturbance is caused when coded data in an optional image are reproduced at random in dynamic image coding data by providing an image type and decoding discrimination circuit to a pre-stage of a decoding section. CONSTITUTION:A series of received dynamic image data are coded by a coding section 1 and recorded in a recording medium 2 in terms of prescribed coded data. When a random reproduction instruction is received, an image type discrimination circuit 5 discriminates is that the data read from the medium 2 are two-way prediction coding data located between the in-image coding data read at first and data other than two-way prediction coding data succeeding to the data. Then a decoding discrimination circuit 6 of a next stage inhibit the input of data read from the medium 2 to the decoding section 3. Thus, the coded data not decoded correctly are not decoded and the image data not causing image disturbance at the start of random reproduction are obtained.
