PURPOSE: To provide a plastic hose such as a sanitary hose having a colored and/or metallized surface. CONSTITUTION: A plastic hose l is provided with at least one hot stamping sheet 7 as a carrier for coloration and/or metallization and bonded to an outer surface capable of being seen through at least partially from the outside of a hose. The plastic hose l is covered with at least one hot stamping sheet having a carrier tape bonded to the outside thereof and heat and pressure are adapted to the stamping sheet to firmly bond the entire surface of the stamping sheet to the outer surface of the hose and the carrier tape is subsequently peeled.
