PURPOSE:To provide a vibration actuator for generating vibration at an arbitrary frequency and amplitude and transmitting the vibration at high efficiency by disposing a radially magnetized magnet oppositely to a coil on the outer circumference at a bent part of a yoke. CONSTITUTION:The base part 1 is a planar magnetic body having a plurality of raised parts wherein a first coil 2 is wound around a raised part 1a, a second coil 3 is wound around a raised part 1b to constitute a solenoid coil. When the first and second coils 2, 3 are fed with currents in predetermined directions, a thrust is induced according to Fleming's left-hand rule in first and second coils 2, 3 arranged in a magnetic circuit and since a mover begins to move as a reaction, an oscillation is generated from the mover according to the waveform of current. Since the mover has a magnet and some weight, an oscillation is also generated in the opposite direction on the base part 1 side. Consequently, an oscillation can be generated at arbitrary frequency and amplitude with high efficiency.
