PURPOSE:To utilize a light source which is distinctly recognizable from a remote place at night and day and regardless of weather and is low in various costs by condensing the natural light of the sun in the day time and the headlamp of an automobile in the night time by a plane mirror condensing plate and condenser. CONSTITUTION:The plane mirror condensing plate 1 has the condenser 2 and an optical fiber 3 connected thereto. This plate is mounted at, for example, a guard rail, etc., in such a manner that the external light 4 like the headlamp of the automobile reflects by falling onto the plane mirror condensing plate 1 and enters as the reflected light 5 on the input surface of the condenser 2. The condensed light passes the inside of the optical fiber 3 and the transmission thereof as the light source for road guiding signals is possible. Then, the natural light of the sun, the headlamp of the automobile, the light 4 of the street lights of roads, etc., are condensed by utilizing the physical property of the light and are usable as the light source for the road signals. The external light is efficiently picked up by designing the plane mirror condensing plate 1 in such a manner that the lens is efficiently focused at the condenser 2 mounted at the front end of the optical fiber 3. |
