PURPOSE:To control a charged voltage to within a specified renge by controlling the frequency of an inverter which AC-drives an induction generator according to a speed ratio obtained from an induction generator speed estimated based on the generator output status after start up and an engine speed, the engine speed, and charged voltage. CONSTITUTION:After start-up of an engine 10, all transistors 21-26 in an inverter 2 are turned off. Frequencies of voltages generated in armature windings U-W are measured, an rpm (NaS) of an induction generator 1 is calculated, and an rpm (NeS) of an engine 10 is read from an rpm sensor 10a mounted on the engine 10. The ratio (R) of an induction generator rpm (NaS) to engine rpm (NeS) is calculated and stored in an controller 3. Then, an engine rpm (Ne) is detected, and a generator rpm (Na) is calculated by the equation of Na=RNe. Power generation is controlled by controlling an inverter frequency (f) to a value determined from a battery voltage (VB), generator rpm (NaS), and slip command (s). |
