PURPOSE:To recognize a missing part from a standard object of a complicate shape at a high speed by providing an apparatus with a light source part, an inspection image-inputting part which photoelectrically converts a reflecting light from a solid object and inputs to a pretreatment part, a pretreatment part which carries out A/D conversion, an inspection data-generating part and a closed curve-extracting part. CONSTITUTION:A light source part 1 emits a plurality of slit lights 1a toward the surface of a solid object to be inspected. An inspection image-inputting part 2 detects reflecting light 1b from the solid object and, photoelectrically converts the reflecting light 1b and inputs to a pretreatment part 3. The pretreatment part 3 converts analog image data 2c input from the input part 2 into digital image data, and at the same time, adjusts gradation. An inspection image data-generating part 4 extracts a disagreeing part of digital image data 3e of a standard model of the solid object and digital image data 3d output from the pretreatment part 3, thereby generating inspection image data 4f. A closed curve-extracting part 5 extracts a closed curve 5g of the inspection image data output from the generating part 4 and outputs a part of the closed curve as a missing part 5h of the solid object. |
