PURPOSE:To prevent the rubbing of a cord against the upper edge of a folded part to reduce the wear of the cord by forming near the folded part a raised part that is slightly higher than the folded part. CONSTITUTION:This luminaire has a cord guide arm 5 made of metal that allows the cord 3 of a switch 1 to hang down while being guided onto its upper side and passed through a hole 4 in its end, and an upwardly folded part 6 is formed at the edge of the hole 4. A raised part 7 slightly higher than the folded part 6 is formed near the folded part 6, and the cord 3 is guided onto the upper surface of the raised part 7. Thus the possibility of the cord rubbing against the upper edge D of the folded part 6 is substantially eliminated, so that the wear of the cord 3 can be reduced. |
