ICE MAKING METHOD,ICE CUBE PRODUCTION MACHINE AND OPERATION METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: To enable the making of ice completely free from changes in ambient operating conditions by arranging a process for sensing dropping of ice cubes from an evaporator plate during the first time interval period after the starting of an intake cycle, and also sensing the existence of excessive ice cubes in a related storage bin. CONSTITUTION: An ice making machine is provided with a water sump device 28 to circulate water over an evaporator plate 30 on which ice is accumulated. A refrigeration/defroster 32 is connected to the evaporator plate 30 and controls the generation of ice cubes on the evaporator plate 30 and then, releases the ice cubes into an ice cube bin 36 through a sensing curtain 34. The water sump 28 is equipped with a level sensor 42 and interrupts refrigerating operation when the water level in the sump lowers to a specified level to start an intake cycle. The sensing curtain 34 is provided right above the ice cube bin 36 and senses when the ice cube bin 36 is filled with the ice cubes.
