OPTICAL RECEIVER WITH HIGH IMPEDANCE PREAMPLIFIER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high impedance optical receiver circuit for an integrated circuit. SOLUTION: A receiver circuit 200 is connected to a gate 211 of an FET element 210 and consists of a photodetecting element 205 that is connected to a diode 215 for providing a load impedance. The FET element 210 is connected to a bias voltage and a regulation stage output through of a bias resistance element 225. The diode 215 for providing the load impedance makes the receiver circuit smaller and makes its production easier than either a load resistor or a load FET. According to one condition, a digital integrated circuit using SEED technique is provided with multiple diode negative receivers on array condition of optical receiver for reducing tracks of the whole array of a SEED circuit.
