PURPOSE:To quickly retrieve a desired music from a large number of musics by storing performance data of plural musics and enabling to simultaneously listen to sample performances selected from the plural musics in parallel. CONSTITUTION:A performance data storage section 7 stores the performance data of plural musics and start and finish pointers of sample performances. A control section 3 detects the signals from an operating section 2 and controls a sample performance or a normal performance. In the case of a sample performance, the performance data of the music specified by the section 3 are read by respective data reading sections 5 and 6 of performance means A and B from the section 7, musical signals are generated by musical sound generating sections 8 and 9, a fade out process and a fixed position process are performed and a monaural sound image is outputted from left and right speakers 14 and 15. Thus, sample performances of a same performance length are executed for many musics the same time period and a desired music is retrieved from a large number of musics in a short period. |
