PURPOSE:To provide the processor and method which can precisely set and correct a three-dimensional shape with good operability as to a three-dimensional image processor and a processing method which can set and correct a three- dimensional shape on a display. CONSTITUTION:Three-dimensional shapes to be coupled mutually are selected out of three-dimensional shapes held in a three-dimensional data base 14 according to operation at an input part 11 and then surfaces to be coupled mutually are selected from among the selected three-dimensional shapes according to operation at the input part 11. A coupling part 21 operates to couple the selected surfaces. Thus, the surfaces of the three-dimensional shapes are indicated through the input part 11 such as a mouse to couple the surfaces with each other, so the need for the three-dimensional operation of the mouse etc., is eliminated to improve the operability, and precise indications can be made, so that the coupling becomes precise.
