Lightning strike current detector for protection of telephonic circuit

The device includes a circuit (4) which creates electro-dynamic forces at the moment a lightning current is created. This circuit of a connection (3) mounted on a part of the line (21) so that the currents circulating in the circuit(4) and in the section of line are in the opposite direction. The device is designed to detect a lighting current circulating in an electrical line (2). Connected in the circuit is a circuit breaker (6) which is actuated by the electro-dynamic forces created by the passage of lightning current. A protective and/or signalling device is activated at the moment the circuit breaker (6) is opened.
