PURPOSE:To provide parts for optical communication with built-in optical filter where narrow slit work can be performed in a short time, which are constituted so that the number of parts and working man-hour may be reduced, and which are excellent in mass productivity and miniaturized. CONSTITUTION:A part of an optical fiber is fixed in a holding member 2, and the slit work 4 for cutting the optical fiber 1 at a specified angle to the optical axis of the optical fiber 1 is performed. Next, the optical filter 6 is inserted in the slit 4 and fixed with an optical adhesive 5. The optical fiber 1 is fixed at a position equal to or under about ten times as large as slit width from the surface of the fixed layer. Then, the optical fiber 1 is embedded in the holding part 2 and integrally molded with resin or a sol-gel method, and further made as a transparent body, thereby, optical parts such as a prism and a lens are formed. |
