PURPOSE:To provide an anemometer which uses a relative pressure sensor and by which the velocity of wind can be measured with good accuracy. CONSTITUTION:A wind-velocity detection part 7 is installed at a body case for an electronic wristwatch, and a pressure introduction valve 13 which can open and shut opening parts 8a, 8b at both ends of a pressure introduction pipe 8 are installed at the respective opening parts 8a, 8b. When a wind-velocity measuring mode is set, both the pressure introduction valves 12, 13 are opened, 4 wind pressure is measured, the direction of wind and a wind force are measured, the windward side out of the pressure introduction valves 12, 13 is opened, and the downward side is closed. In this state, the wind pressure is measured again, the velocity of wind is operated, and the same measurement is performed by changing the direction of the pressure introduction pipe 8 until a maximum wind velocity is obtained. When the maximum wind velocity is obtained, an average wind velocity and a maximum instantaneous wind velocity are computed so as to be displayed and output on a display part for the electronic wristwatch. |
