PURPOSE: To provide a radiation remote detecting device which has high detecting sensitivity to radiation and which enables remote measurement. CONSTITUTION: A radiation remote detecting device includes an optical fiber 4 and a detecting crystal 10 and one end of the detecting crystal 10 is optically coupled with the optical fiber 4 and the detecting crystal generates light by mutual action with the radiation and the light can be transmitted to the optical fiber 4. An optical film 12 optically coupled to the detecting crystal 10 is formed at an outer periphery of the detecting crystal 10 and refractive index of the optical film 12 is smaller than that of the detecting crystal 10 and whereby, the light generated by the detecting crystal 10 is fully reflected on a surfaces of the detecting crystal 10 and the optical film 12.
