<p>PURPOSE: To use excess heat of a flue gas not required for operating a flue gas desulfurization apparatus by dividing an air preheater into two air preheaters while a partial stream of a flue gas is guided through the air preheaters. CONSTITUTION: An air preheater is divided into two air preheaters 3 and 4 to which preheaters 3 and 4 are attached bypass conduits 11 and 12. Both the bypass conduits 11 and 12 connected to a main flue gas conduit 6 through a regulating valve 13 and hence, partial streams of flue gas 5a and 5b can be branched of the main stream thereof through both the bypass conduits 11 and 12. As a result, about 1 of a flue gas-air ratio is generated in both the air preheaters 3 and 4, whereby the partial streams 5a and 5b of flue gas being guided through the respective air preheaters 3 and 4 are used to generate a steam. This enables to utilize excess heat of the flue gas not required for operating a flue gas desulfurization apparatus.</p> |
