PURPOSE:To make information processors automatically reset a data communication processor by reporting a fault to all information processors connected to the data communication processor at the time or the occurrence or the fault in the data communication processor which controls data communication between information processors. CONSTITUTION:An interface control part 107, a crossbar switch 108, and an arbitration control part 109 in a data communication processor 101 are provided with fault detection circuits respectively. If a fault occurs, the occurrence of the fault and its position are reported to the fault processing part in the interface control part by a broadcast signal. The fault processing part reports the fault to an information processor 100 by an interrupt signal, and the information processor 100 receives the fault to indicate the reset to the data communication processor 101. Each control part of the data communication processor is reset by this reset indication to recover the fault. |
