PURPOSE:To enable execution of heating inside a bathroom while dispensing with a ceiling heating unit or the like, by a method wherein a heat-emitting means for emitting the heat of warm water held in the main body of a bathtub is provided in the side wall part of the main body of the bathtub exposed inside the bathroom. CONSTITUTION:A heat-emitting means 5 for emitting the heat of warm water 4 held in the main body 3 of an enameled bathtub 1 into a bathroom 2 is provided in the side wall part 3a of the main body 3 of the bathtub which is exposed inside the bathroom 2. The heat-emitting means 5 has a recessed part 7 provided in the side wall part 3a and opened outward, toward a washing place in particular, and a large number of vertical fins 8 provided by fitting on the bottom surface of the recessed part 7 so that they are separated from each other appropriately in the horizontal direction. By opening louvers 10a and 10b when necessary, in the bathtub 1, the heat of the warm water 4 is transmitted to each fin 8, while heat exchange with air inside the bathroom 2 is conducted effectively by a chimney effect that the heat is taken in from a lower opening and discharged from an upper opening, and thus heating inside the bathroom 2 is conducted excellently. |
