发明名称 COORDINATE INPUT DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CORRECTING COORDINATE ERROR
摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To provide a coordinate input device capable of executing accurate coordinate input. CONSTITUTION:Vibration inputted from a vibration pen 3 to a vibration transmitting plate 8 is detected by a vibration sensor 6 and a transmission distance from a vibration source and coordinates based upon the distance are calculated by a signal waveform detecting circuit 9 and an arithmetic and control circuit 1. The detected coordinates are checked by the detected transmission distance to judge whether an error is included or not. When an error is included, the length of one wavelength is added to the transmission distance of a sensor having the highest probability of including an error and most close to the vibration source out of plural calculated transmission distances, its coordinates are calculated again and the judgement of an error is repeated. A sensor most far from the vibration source can also be selected as a sensor corresponding to a transmission distance including an error. Thus error detection controlling preparatory correction can quickly be executed by simple constitution and accurate coordinate input can be attained.</p>
