PURPOSE:To facilitate the management of image data by giving a name to image data pasted in a document and managing the image data on the basis of the name. CONSTITUTION:When a pasting process in a software menu is selected, a control part 16 checks whether or not a name is given to the image. When 'face photograph' is inputted as an image data name, the image data are saved on a floppy disk at a recording part 20. Then an image processing part 32 controls the area specification of a text. Consequently, the area where the image data are pasted is set. An image processing part 22 pastes the image in the area. In this case, a document (text) memory 24a does not have the image themselves, but stores only the document name 'face photograph' of the image and the area information. For display, the control part 16 retrieves the storage part 18 according to the document name 'face photograph' to take out and display the image data. |
