PURPOSE:To obtain stable rotation having no deviation in rotating shaft by forming a recessed portion or projected portion for forming a stable contact portion between the tip of a rotating shaft and a thrust bearing and for forming a stable contact portion between the side surface of the rotating shaft and a cylindrical bearing. CONSTITUTION:In an FDD drive motor, if a rotating shaft 1 is inserted to a cylindrical bearing 7, a magnet 3 and a fixed magnetic pole 5a at the tip of a stator yoke 5 attract each other so that the tip of a rotating shaft 5 is contacted to a thrust bearing 6. Here, if the bottom portion of the rotating shaft 1 is formed to a half-spherical shape and a cone-shaped projection is made on the upper surface of a thrust bearing 6 off the center of said bearing 6, then the rotating shaft 1 is sloped by the amount of a gap between the rotating shaft 1 and the cylindrical bearing 7. And the bottom tip of the rotating shaft 1 is contacted to the thrust bearing 6 and the side wall of the rotating shaft 1 is contacted to the cylindrical bearing 7, and these contact points form stable contact points. By doing this, the rotating accuracy of the rotating shaft 1 can be secured and the FD of static electricity can be discharged. |
