PURPOSE:To obtain an over current limiting device which makes a regulator provided for abnormality of plural circuit blocks common, and can limit an over current corresponding to a limited current for each block. CONSTITUTION:This device is an over current limiting device used for an information processing device selecting and outputting a reproduced signal outputted from a tuner section 1, a CD player section 2 and cassette deck section 3 in which the maximum current values are respectively set. This device has a regulator 11 supplying electric power to the tuner section 1, the CD player section 2 and the cassette deck section 3 respectively, and a control section 12 which always monitors a current consumption value of the regulator 11 and controls power supplying operation of the regulator 11 so that a current consumption value does not exceed the maximum current value. |
