PURPOSE:To provide an electronic musical instrument in which received MIDI events are displayed so that they are easily understood to suit for the performance. CONSTITUTION:When the instrument is set to a display screen of an MIDI monitor mode, received data values of controllers such as a modulation wheel, a breath controller, a foot controller and a main volume are displayed on a display screen as data values for example, '0', '10', '15' and '127' in a set MIDI channel. Thus, the correlation between the control data and the musical sounds to be generated is made clear and a user easily understands how to control the connected musical instrument. Moreover, when the data value of a pitch bend is '0', the zero value is separated and displayed. |
