PURPOSE:To hold a sufficient electrolyte in a laminate body in order to store the electrolyte adequately to the porous electrolyte storage plate of the laminate body, by feeding an excessive amount of electrolyte to the laminate body of the fuel cell, and heating the laminate body to the temperature to allow electrolyte particles to move to the porous electrolyte storage plate of the laminate body. CONSTITUTION:A part assembly 2 has an anode/electrolyte storage plate 6 and an electrolyte matrix plate 1. The electrolyte matrix plate 1 is divided into two parts, and composed of butting plates la and 1b. When a laminate body is heated to the operating temperature, a carrier base agent is evaporated, the included carbonate is melted, and the adhesive electrolyte is decomposed so as to flow in to the clearance of the porous plate 6 from a groove 8 as shown in the arrows A. The electrolyte filled as a reserve is melted again, and flows in to the hole of the matrix plate 1 as shown in the arrows B. To the matrix plate 1 and the storage plate 6, a sufficient electrolyte is fed in order to operate the laminate body for a long period. |
