PURPOSE:To easily make inputted character patterns correspond to partial patterns. CONSTITUTION:The data on the input instruction stored in a data ROM is displayed on a display 7 by control of a CPU at the time of inputting the character patterns with a pattern input device. The data on the input instruction includes the data to display the character patterns by dividing a rectangular frame 15 covering the entire part of the character patterns to first and second regions 17, 18 corresponding to the plural partial patterns constituting the character patterns. The data on the input instruction include the data which displays the entire part of the regions corresponding to the partial patterns to be inputted and to leave the remaining regions not to be inputted as a blank. Then, the inputted character patterns are easily made to correspond to the partial patterns by inputting the character patterns according to the input instruction. |
