PURPOSE:To provide a dielectric porcelain material which can be sintered simultaneotjsly with any low-melting-point, inexpensive electrode material by adding SiO2 and Fe2O3 to main components having a specific chemical composition which comprises Ba, Pb, La, Gd, Ti and O. CONSTITUTION:This dielectric porcelain material has main components having a chemical composition represented by the formula to which SiO2 and Fe2O3 are added as additives by 0.3 to 4.0wt% and 0.3 to 4.0wt.% of the overall amount, respectively. In the formula, (a)=11.7 to 21.7mol%, (b)=11.7 to 21.7mol%, and (a+(b)+(c)=100mol%, with (x) representing a number ranging from 0.01 to 0.65 inclusive, and (y) representing a number ranging from 0.01 to 0.65 inclusive. The dielectric porcelain composition has a great dielectric constant, a temperature coefficient approximating zero at a resonant frequency, and a great QX(b) value, and, even when inexpensive, low-melting point, Ag, Ag-Pd alloy, Cu or the like is used as internal electrode material, simultaneous sintering can be achieved because of the low sintering temperature of the dielectric porcelain material. |
