<p>PURPOSE:To provide a position detector capable of preventing the generation of a deviation in a coordinate value due to induced voltage remaining in a circuit. CONSTITUTION:One loop coil out of plural loop coils arranged in parallel in a position detecting direction is scanned/selected to transmit/receive a radio wave (S1), the approximate position of a position indicator is found out based upon induced voltage generated in respective loop coils (S3), and in the case of successively scanning/selecting each loop coil by the prescribed number of loop coils around a loop coil generating maximum induced voltage and transmitting/receiving radio waves, its selecting direction is alternately switched and selected (S5, S6) and the coordinate value of an indicated position based upon the induced voltage generated at the time of switching the selecting direction is averaged (S8). Consequently a deviation of a coordinate value due to the influence of induced voltage remaining in a resonance circuit in the position detector can be canceled.</p> |
