PURPOSE:To constitute an optical recording/reproducing device so that an optical pickup is not exposed at the non-scanning time and to attain the accurate information recording/reproducing operation. CONSTITUTION:The optical recording/reproducing device 1 is provided with a moving optical system 5 movable along the recording surface of a recording medium 2 while having an objective lens 8 confronted with the recording surface and a fixed optical system 4 arranged at the position separated from this moving optical system 5 while incorporating a light source. The fixed optical system 4 is provided with a light emitting opening part 4A for emitting a light flux from the light source, meanwhile, the moving optical system 5 is provided with a light incident opening part for making the light flux incident, which is freely fitted to the light emitting opening part, and a flexible member 9 is provided in the light emitting opening part, then the flexible member 9 is brought into contact with the objective lens 8 by fitting both opening parts to each other at the time when the recording surface is not scanned by the moving optical system 5. |
