PURPOSE:To easily restore the latest data contents against occurrence of an accident by storing the updating information showing the contents of the updating job in an auxiliary storage part when the data stored in a storage part are updated. CONSTITUTION:A processing device (control means) 3 is connected to a magnetic disk (storage part) 1 which stores data in a random accessible state and also connected to a mangeto-optical disk (auxiliary storage part) 2 which stores the backup data to restore the data of the same contents as those of data stored in true part 1. Then the device 3 stores the updating information showing the contents of the updating job in the disk 2 when the data stored in the disk 1 are updated. Furthermore the device 3 reads the updating information out of the disk 2 for restoration of data and updates the data copied on the disk 1 as instructed by the updating information. |
