PURPOSE:To provide an anemoscope/anemometer by which the direction and velocity of wind can be measured with good accuracy. CONSTITUTION:An electronic wristwatch 1 is provided with a wind-velocity detection sensor 7 and a direction sensor 21, and the wind-velocity detection sensor 7 is covered with a window key having a plurality of holes used to introduce wind. When the window key is pressed to close the holes, a CPU 25 drives the wind-velocity detection sensor 7 to start the detection of a wind- velocity, it takes into a detected wind-velocity detection signal via an amplifier 22 and an A/D converter 23, and stores it in a RAM 24 as a criterion value in a zero reset operation. After that, when a finger is released from the window key, the wind-velocity detection signal from the wind-velocity detection sensor 7 is supplied to a wind-direction and -velocity arithmetic part 27, and the wind- velocity is computed, and stored in the RAM 24. When a maximum wind- velocity is detected, the direction at this time is detected by the direction sensor 21, and the wind direction is computed by the wind-direction and - velocity arithmetic part 27. The wind velocity and the wind direction which have been computed are displayed on a display part 3. |
