PURPOSE:To eliminate the necessity of feeding back information such as an envelope generator to an assignment means and to reduce the number of bits to store the information. CONSTITUTION:An assignment order storage means is provided to respond to the assignment of an assignment means and to store the order with which a musical sound is assigned to a currently operating key switch. Moreover, the assignment means has shift register means 202, 204 and 205 which store the data to show musical sound generating circuits to be assigned. Based on the data which appear at specific positions of the means 202, 204 and 205, a musical sound is assigned to the musical sound generating circuit shown by most old assignment data. |
