PURPOSE:To facilitate automation of assembling to improve productivity, and besides to reduce a production cost by forming a sheet metal made bevel case structure in two divisions which are joined together by welding. CONSTITUTION:Bevel cases 20 and 21 with which bevel gear mechanisms 8 and 12 to transmittably intercouple transmission shafts 3, 5, and 9 in a crossing direction are covered form two-division structure wherein a pair of half division cases 20A and 21A by press-processing a plate material are intercoupled by interconnecting joints 20a and 21a by welding. Nipping parts 20b and 21b to nip the end parts of transmission shafts 14 and 16, respectively supporting transmission shafts 3, 5, and 9 by bearings, in such a manner to brace them in a coupling state are formed at the half-division cases 20A and 21A, respectively.
