PURPOSE:To miniaturize the changeover switch of an inverter and a charger in an inverter shared charger used for an electric motor vehicle, etc. CONSTITUTION:Inverters 30, 31 for converging DC power from a battery 14 into desired AC power are provided. When it is operated as a charger, power from an external power source 8 is supplied to the inverters 30, 31 via a diode bridge 9, etc. Only transistors corresponding to one phase of the inverters 30, 21 is driven, and AC power is output from the terminal connected with the relative transistor. Thus, since the AC power for charging is output from the terminals of the inverters 30, 31, a changeover switch in which large current to be supplied to a load is eliminated, and the switch 6 can be miniaturized. |
