PURPOSE: To provide a vegetable storage chamber humidifier for a refrigerator which can humidify vegetable by a vapor mist by keeping cool air in a refrigerator in touch with frost water as obtained when frost generated on the perimeter of an evaporator is melted to produce the vapor mist. CONSTITUTION: This vegetable storage chamber humidifier is constituted of a frost water tank 107 to produce a vapor mist based on frost water as obtained when frost generated on the perimeter of an evaporator 105 is melted and cool air of a refrigerator, a drain hose 108 having a valve 108a to let a moderate amount of frost water flow into the frost water tank 107, a cool air duct 111 for taking the cool air into the frost water tank 107 and a water sump 113 to evaporate the remaining frost water. |
