摘要 The steering control device determines the dynamics of the motor vehicle from the output of several sensors including slew movement sensors, transverse movement sensors, etc. The processor control computes the optimum dynamic condition and compares it with the actual measured condition to generate correction signals. These are applied in a feedback control e.g. to the rear wheel steering to counteract lateral movements etc. The frequency of the feedback control is adjusted w.r.t. the vehicle dynamics to provide a simple damped control. The differences between the computed and actual values are monitored over preset times to eliminate transients.
