Anti-lock braking system for four wheel drive motor vehicle

The anti-lock braking system monitors the relative speeds of the front and rear wheels of the vehicle and provides for a mean wheel slip factor for the rear wheels less than that for the front wheels. The brake control progressively changes to a two wheel drive brake control for a stable braking action. The relative braking force between the front wheels and the rear wheels is greater when the front wheel speeds are greater than the rear wheel speeds. During ABS control the rear brake pressures are reduced via pressure reduction signals.
